Scrapper's BINGO
We are about to start a new game on our site.
This game is a fun BINGO game made especailly for us scrappers!
Heres how it works:
- the host posts a list of 50 words, with a theme, on the site.
The theme might be something related to scrapping, like colors of paper or names of embellsihments..or it might not have anything to do with scrapping.
- you join the game by choosing 25 of the words and sending your list to the host.
- you will keep this list a secret and send it to the host in email or PM.
-keep a copy of your words fro yourself.
-the host will start on a specified day to post one or a few of the words off the list..and you will strike them off your list as they are called.
-they can be called at anytime of the day ..so you will have to check back once in a while.
-you can post your progress in the string so everyone can see how others are doing.
- The first one to have their list finished will call BINGO and will win a prize. they will also have the option to be the next host of the BINGO game. If they choose not to I will take the game back.
So here is an example in a minature form:
Betty checks out the list of fruits that the host posted.
Apples
oranges
bananas
kiwi
grapes
mangos
..and choses:
kiwi
grapes
bananas
On the day the bingo starts the host posts apples and kiwi.
Betty strokes off kiwi from her list and posts that she had one of them.
Over the next few days the host posts more words..until one days Betty has them all! She posts BINGO on the site and the game stops. Hooray everyone celbrates for her.
Betty recieves a gift and she has the option of hosting the next game.
I've played this game befroe on a site and its been a lot of fun..especailly at the end when everyone gets close to winning!
Added note: Some times a host will add a little twist so that a second prize can be given out, but this is optional.
