I was about to add some more tutorials to the main website today. But I've been debating about placing all our tutorials in the forums somewhere rather than on the main website. I don't really want to do both because of the maintenance issue. Even though I use some basic templates - writing the HTML (computer code) is time consuming.
My thoughts are that by making them available without entering the forums increases site traffic and general interest. However making them available in the forums may increase forum membership and participation.
So I was thinking I'd keep a main tutorial page on the primary website with links to tutorials in the forums. Users would then enter the forums to access the tutorials. Which of course may scare some folks off as the forum isn't as user friendly as a regular web page.
Mmmm.... I'm still deciding which way to go. What do you all think?
