1. Open your tutorial with a short description of what the viewer will learn.
2. Provide a list of supplies.
3. Divide the creative process into small activities and describe each one in a step-by-step format.
4. Include pictures for steps that are easier to understand by seeing an example.
(Please keep photos smaller than 600x600px and no larger than 100kb in size.)
5. Always show a picture of the finished project/technique.
6. Close with a post that gives the viewer project ideas of how they can further use what they've learned.
--> Be sure to give credit where credit is due! If you learned about the project/technique in a magazine, on TV, at another website, etc. - tell what your source was.
Tips:
-- It's easier to read/follow each step if a large signature block isn't in the way. So when posting the step-by-step messages, it's recommended that you turn your signature line off. I try to limit my signature block to the first and last post in the tutorial.
-- Place your tutorial in the most appropriate forum or you are likely to see it get moved by site administrators. If in doubt, just ask. The tutorial forums can be found under the various Art Studio headings. They include:
